WP_REST_Pattern_Directory_Controller WordPress Class
The WP_REST_Pattern_Directory_Controller class is used to retrieve and manage pattern files in a WordPress installation. This class is responsible for providing an interface for managing pattern files as well as for handling file uploads and downloads.
WP_REST_Pattern_Directory_Controller #
Controller which provides REST endpoint for block patterns.
Description
This simply proxies the endpoint at https://api.wordpress.org/patterns/1.0/. That isn’t necessary for functionality, but is desired for privacy. It prevents api.wordpress.org from knowing the user’s IP address.
