WP_Screen::get() WordPress Method

The WP_Screen::get() method is used to get the current screen object. This is useful for retrieving information about the current screen, such as the current screen ID or the current screen base.

WP_Screen::get( string|WP_Screen $hook_name = '' ) #

Fetches a screen object.


Parameters

$hook_name

(string|WP_Screen)(Optional) The hook name (also known as the hook suffix) used to determine the screen. Defaults to the current $hook_suffix global.
