WP_Term_Query::parse_orderby() WordPress Method

The WP_Term_Query::parse_orderby() is a method used to parse the ORDER BY clause of a SQL query. It is used to determine how the terms should be ordered in the results. The default order is by term_id.

WP_Term_Query::parse_orderby( string $orderby_raw ) #

Parse and sanitize ‘orderby’ keys passed to the term query.


Parameters

$orderby_raw

(string)(Required)Alias for the field to order by.
