WP_Widget_Custom_HTML::update() WordPress Method

The WP_Widget_Custom_HTML::update() method is used to update the settings for a Custom HTML widget. This method accepts an array of new settings, sanitizes them, and then updates the widget settings with the new values.

WP_Widget_Custom_HTML::update( array $new_instance, array $old_instance ) #

Handles updating settings for the current Custom HTML widget instance.


Parameters

$new_instance

(array)(Required)New settings for this instance as input by the user via WP_Widget::form().

$old_instance

(array)(Required)Old settings for this instance.
