_post_format_get_term() WordPress Function

The post_format_get_term() function is used to retrieve a specific post format term. This function is useful for retrieving information about a post format, such as its name or slug.

_post_format_get_term( object $term ) #

Remove the post format prefix from the name property of the term object created by get_term().
