format_code_lang() WordPress Function
The format_code_lang() function formats code blocks for a specific language. This function is useful for syntax highlighting code in a blog post or displaying code snippets on a website. This function accepts two parameters: the first is the code to be formatted, and the second is the language of the code. The format_code_lang() function will return the code block with the appropriate formatting for the specified language.
format_code_lang( string $code = '' ) #
Returns the language for a language code.
Parameters
- $code
(string)(Optional) The two-letter language code.
Default value: ''
Return
(string) The language corresponding to $code if it exists. If it does not exist, then the first two letters of $code is returned.
