get_core_updates() WordPress Function
The get_core_updates() function is used to retrieve the latest update information for the WordPress core. This function will return an array of update objects, each of which contains information about an available update. The returned array can be empty if there are no updates available.
get_core_updates( array $options = array() ) #
Gets available core updates.
Parameters
- $options
(array)(Optional)Set $options['dismissed'] to true to show dismissed upgrades too, set $options['available'] to false to skip not-dismissed updates.
Default value: array()
Return
(array|false) Array of the update objects on success, false on failure.
