wp_maybe_inline_styles() WordPress Function
The wp_maybe_inline_styles() function is used to check whether a stylesheet should be inline or not. If the stylesheet is going to be inline, the function will load the stylesheet and return the HTML. Otherwise, the function will return an empty string.
wp_maybe_inline_styles() #
Allows small styles to be inlined.
Description
This improves performance and sustainability, and is opt-in. Stylesheets can opt in by adding path
data using wp_style_add_data
, and defining the file’s absolute path:
wp_style_add_data( $style_handle, 'path', $file_path );
