show_advanced_plugins WordPress Filter Hook

The show_advanced_plugins hook allows developers to filter the list of plugins shown in the Advanced Plugins section of the WordPress admin. This can be used to hide plugins from non-technical users, or to add custom links and information to the plugin list.

apply_filters( 'show_advanced_plugins', bool $show, string $type ) #

Filters whether to display the advanced plugins list table.


Description

There are two types of advanced plugins – must-use and drop-ins – which can be used in a single site or Multisite network.

The $type parameter allows you to differentiate between the type of advanced plugins to filter the display of. Contexts include ‘mustuse’ and ‘dropins’.
