WP_Filesystem_Direct::touch() WordPress Method
The WP_Filesystem_Direct::touch() method is used to create a new file or update the modification time of an existing file. This is a wrapper for the PHP touch() function.
WP_Filesystem_Direct::touch( string $file, int $time, int $atime ) #
Sets the access and modification times of a file.
Description
Note: If $file doesn’t exist, it will be created.
Parameters
- $file
(string)(Required)Path to file.
- $time
(int)(Optional) Modified time to set for file. Default 0.
- $atime
(int)(Optional) Access time to set for file. Default 0.
Return
(bool) True on success, false on failure.
