WP_Locale::get_weekday_initial() WordPress Method
The WP_Locale::get_weekday_initial() method is used to retrieve the initial letter of a weekday for the current locale.
WP_Locale::get_weekday_initial( string $weekday_name ) #
Retrieves the translated weekday initial.
Description
The weekday initial is retrieved by the translated full weekday word. When translating the weekday initial pay attention to make sure that the starting letter does not conflict.
Parameters
- $weekday_name
(string)(Required)Full translated weekday word.
Return
(string) Translated weekday initial.
