The WP_Locale::get_weekday_abbrev() method is used to get the abbreviated weekday for the given day of the week.
WP_Locale::get_weekday_abbrev( string $weekday_name ) #
Retrieves the translated weekday abbreviation.
Description
The weekday abbreviation is retrieved by the translated full weekday word.
Parameters
- $weekday_name
(string)(Required)Full translated weekday word.
Return
(string) Translated weekday abbreviation.
