WP_REST_Comments_Controller::update_item_permissions_check() WordPress Method
The WP_REST_Comments_Controller::update_item_permissions_check() method is used to check whether the current user can update a comment. This method is called during the permissions check for the REST API.
WP_REST_Comments_Controller::update_item_permissions_check( WP_REST_Request $request ) #
Checks if a given REST request has access to update a comment.
Parameters
- $request
(WP_REST_Request)(Required)Full details about the request.
Return
(true|WP_Error) True if the request has access to update the item, error object otherwise.
