WP_REST_Comments_Controller::delete_item_permissions_check() WordPress Method

The WP_REST_Comments_Controller::delete_item_permissions_check() method is used to check if the current user has permission to delete a comment. This method is called before a comment is deleted. This method is used to check if the current user has the 'delete_comment' capability. If the user does not have this capability, they will not be able to delete the comment.
