WP_Widget_Recent_Posts::update() WordPress Method

The update() method is used to update the settings for a particular widget instance. This method is invoked when the user saves the widget form in the admin interface. The new settings are passed as an array in the first parameter of the update() method.

WP_Widget_Recent_Posts::update( array $new_instance, array $old_instance ) #

Handles updating the settings for the current Recent Posts widget instance.


Parameters

$new_instance

(array)(Required)New settings for this instance as input by the user via WP_Widget::form().

$old_instance

(array)(Required)Old settings for this instance.
