get_comment_type() WordPress Function

The get_comment_type() function is used to get the type of comment being displayed. This function can be used within the comments loop to check the type of comment being displayed.

get_comment_type( int|WP_Comment $comment_ID ) #

Retrieves the comment type of the current comment.


Parameters

$comment_ID

(int|WP_Comment)(Optional) WP_Comment or ID of the comment for which to get the type. Default current comment.
