author_email WordPress Filter Hook
The author_email hook is used to process the author's email address before it is displayed on the website. This hook can be used to modify the author's email address, or to add extra data to it.
apply_filters( 'author_email', string $author_email , string $comment_ID ) #
Filters the comment author’s email for display.
Parameters
- $author_email
(string)The comment author's email address.
- $comment_ID
(string)The comment ID as a numeric string.
