automatic_updater_disabled WordPress Filter Hook

The automatic_updater_disabled Wordpress hook is used to prevent WordPress from automatically updating itself. This can be useful if you want to control when WordPress updates are installed, or if you need to test an update before it is made available to the public.

apply_filters( 'automatic_updater_disabled', bool $disabled ) #

Filters whether to entirely disable background updates.

Description

There are more fine-grained filters and controls for selective disabling. This filter parallels the AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED constant in name.

This also disables update notification emails. That may change in the future.
