sanitize_{$meta_type}_meta_{$meta_key} WordPress Filter Hook

The sanitize_{$meta_type}_meta_{$meta_key} hook allows you to sanitize the value of a particular metadata field for a given object type. The hook takes two arguments: the value of the field and the object type.

apply_filters( "sanitize_{$meta_type}_meta_{$meta_key}", mixed $meta_value, string $meta_key, string $meta_type ) #

Filter the sanitization of a specific meta key of a specific meta type.


Description

The dynamic portions of the hook name, $meta_type, and $meta_key, refer to the metadata object type (comment, post, or user) and the meta key value, respectively.
