WP_Query::is_author() WordPress Method

The WP_Query::is_author() method is used to check if the current page is an author archive. This is useful for checking if the user is viewing an author page, and then if you need to do something different on your author page than on other pages. For example, you might want to display different content on your author page, or you might want to exclude certain content from your author page.
