WP_REST_Templates_Controller::delete_item() WordPress Method

The WP_REST_Templates_Controller::delete_item() method is used to delete a template. This is done by sending a DELETE request to the /templates/{id} URL, where {id} is the ID of the template to delete. The response body will be empty if the delete was successful.

Deletes a single template.
