WP_REST_Widgets_Controller::update_item_permissions_check() WordPress Method
The WP_REST_Widgets_Controller::update_item_permissions_check() method is used to check if a given request has permission to update a widget. This method is used to check if a given request has permission to update a widget. In order to check if the current user has permission to update a widget, this method will first check if the user is logged in. If the user is not logged in, this method will return false. Next, this method will check if the current user has the 'edit_widgets' capability. If the user does not have this capability, this method will again return false. Only if the user is logged in and has the 'edit_widgets' capability will this method return true, indicating that the user has permission to update the widget.

Checks if a given request has access to update widgets.
Parameters
