WP_REST_Widgets_Controller::get_item_permissions_check() WordPress Method

The WP_REST_Widgets_Controller::get_item_permissions_check() method is used to check if a given request has permission to read a widget. This method is used to check if the current user has the 'edit_theme_options' capability, which is required to read widgets. If the user does not have this capability, a 401 unauthorized error is returned.
