WP_Widget_Archives::update() WordPress Method

The WP_Widget_Archives::update() method is used to update the settings for a particular instance of the WP_Widget_Archives widget. The $new_instance parameter is an array of the new settings, while the $old_instance parameter is an array of the old settings.

WP_Widget_Archives::update( array $new_instance, array $old_instance ) #

Handles updating settings for the current Archives widget instance.


Parameters

$new_instance

(array)(Required)New settings for this instance as input by the user via WP_Widget_Archives::form().

$old_instance
