esc_html_e() WordPress Function

The esc_html_e() function is a WordPress function that is used to escape HTML entities in strings. This function is especially useful when displaying data that has been entered by users, as it ensures that any HTML entities entered by users are escaped and displayed correctly.

esc_html_e( string $text, string $domain = 'default' ) #

Display translated text that has been escaped for safe use in HTML output.


Description

If there is no translation, or the text domain isn’t loaded, the original text is escaped and displayed.

If you need the value for use in PHP, use esc_html__().
