esc_attr__() WordPress Function

The esc_attr__() function is used to escape HTML attributes in WordPress. This function ensures that the data you pass to it is safe to use in an HTML attribute.

esc_attr__( string $text, string $domain = 'default' ) #

Retrieve the translation of $text and escapes it for safe use in an attribute.


Description

If there is no translation, or the text domain isn’t loaded, the original text is returned.
