wp_safe_remote_head() WordPress Function

The wp_safe_remote_head() function is used to safely retrieve the headers for a given URL. This function is used to check if a given URL is valid and if it is, it returns an array of the headers.

wp_safe_remote_head( string $url, array $args = array() ) #

Retrieve the raw response from a safe HTTP request using the HEAD method.


Description

This function is ideal when the HTTP request is being made to an arbitrary URL. The URL is validated to avoid redirection and request forgery attacks.
