attribute_escape WordPress Filter Hook

The attribute_escape Wordpress hook is used to escape HTML attributes. This is useful for ensuring that your attributes are correctly escaped for your particular context.

apply_filters( 'attribute_escape', string $safe_text, string $text ) #

Filters a string cleaned and escaped for output in an HTML attribute.


Description

Text passed to esc_attr() is stripped of invalid or special characters before output.
