mce_buttons_3 WordPress Filter Hook

The mce_buttons_3 hook is used to add additional TinyMCE buttons to the post editor. This hook is triggered after the first and second row of buttons have been added, and allows you to add your own custom buttons to the editor.

apply_filters( 'mce_buttons_3', array $mce_buttons_3, string $editor_id ) #

Filters the third-row list of TinyMCE buttons (Visual tab).


Parameters

$mce_buttons_3

(array)Third-row list of buttons.

$editor_id

(string)Unique editor identifier, e.g. 'content'. Accepts 'classic-block' when called from block editor's Classic block.
