WP_Customize_Manager::remove_setting() WordPress Method

The WP_Customize_Manager::remove_setting() method is used to remove a setting from the Customizer. This is useful if you want to de-register a setting that is no longer needed or used by your theme or plugin.

WP_Customize_Manager::remove_setting( string $id ) #

Removes a customize setting.


Description

Note that removing the setting doesn’t destroy the WP_Customize_Setting instance or remove its filters.
