WP_Filesystem_ftpsockets::is_dir() WordPress Method
The WP_Filesystem_ftpsockets::is_dir() method is used to check whether a directory exists on the remote FTP server. This is useful for checking if a particular folder exists before trying to upload files to it.
WP_Filesystem_ftpsockets::is_dir( string $path ) #
Checks if resource is a directory.
Parameters

(bool) Whether $path is a directory.
