WP_REST_Terms_Controller::create_item_permissions_check() WordPress Method
The WP_REST_Terms_Controller::create_item_permissions_check() method is used to check if a given request has permission to create a new term. This method is used to check if a given request has permission to create a new term. The request is first checked to see if the user has the required capabilities, and then a custom permission callback can be specified via the rest_controller_class filter. If no permission callback is specified, then this method will return true if the user has the required capabilities, false otherwise.
