WP_REST_Terms_Controller::get_item() WordPress Method
The WP_REST_Terms_Controller::get_item() method is used to retrieve a single term from a taxonomy. The method accepts two arguments: the taxonomy slug and the term slug. The method returns a WP_REST_Response object containing the term data.
WP_REST_Terms_Controller::get_item( WP_REST_Request $request ) #
Gets a single term from a taxonomy.
Parameters
- $request
(WP_REST_Request)(Required)Full details about the request.
Return
(WP_REST_Response|WP_Error) Response object on success, or WP_Error object on failure.
