wp_xmlrpc_server::pingback_ping() WordPress Method
The wp_xmlrpc_server::pingback_ping() method is used to notify a Pingback server of a new Pingback on a post. This is used by the Pingback feature to update other sites when you link to them.
wp_xmlrpc_server::pingback_ping( array $args ) #
Retrieves a pingback and registers it.
Parameters
- $args
(array)(Required)Method arguments. Note: arguments must be ordered as documented.
