wp_map_nav_menu_locations() WordPress Function
The wp_map_nav_menu_locations() function is used to map theme locations to menu locations. This function is useful for assigning menus to specific locations in your theme.
wp_map_nav_menu_locations( array $new_nav_menu_locations, array $old_nav_menu_locations ) #
Maps nav menu locations according to assignments in previously active theme.
Parameters
- $new_nav_menu_locations
(array)(Required)New nav menu locations assignments.
- $old_nav_menu_locations
(array)(Required)Old nav menu locations assignments.
Return
(array) Nav menus mapped to new nav menu locations.
