created_term WordPress Action Hook

The created_term hook is triggered when a new term is created. It allows you to modify the new term before it is saved to the database.

do_action( 'created_term', int $term_id, int $tt_id, string $taxonomy ) #

Fires after a new term is created, and after the term cache has been cleaned.


Description

The ‘created_$taxonomy’ hook is also available for targeting a specific taxonomy.
