create_term WordPress Action Hook

The create_term hook is triggered when a new term is created. It allows you to modify or add data to the new term before it is saved to the database. This hook is useful for tasks such as custom taxonomies or setting default term metadata.

do_action( 'create_term', int $term_id, int $tt_id, string $taxonomy ) #

Fires immediately after a new term is created, before the term cache is cleaned.
