pre_update_site_option_{$option} WordPress Filter Hook

The pre_update_site_option_{$option} hook is called before a specific option is updated in the WordPress database. The hook takes two arguments, the first is the new value that will be saved to the database and the second is the old value that is currently stored. This hook can be used to modify the value that is going to be stored, or to perform any other actions before the option is updated.
