widget_categories_dropdown_args WordPress Filter Hook
The widget_categories_dropdown_args hook is used to modify the arguments used in the wp_dropdown_categories() function. This can be used to change the order of the categories, or to exclude certain categories from the dropdown.
apply_filters( 'widget_categories_dropdown_args', array $cat_args , array $instance ) #
Filters the arguments for the Categories widget drop-down.
