is_local_attachment() WordPress Function

The is_local_attachment() function is used to check if an attachment is local (stored on the same server as the WordPress installation). This is useful for checking if an attachment is available for download.

is_local_attachment( string $url ) #

Determines whether an attachment URI is local and really an attachment.
