{$field} WordPress Filter Hook

The {$field} hook is one of the most important hooks in WordPress. It is used to add fields to WordPress forms. Fields can be added to any form, including the login form, registration form, comment form, and post form. This hook is also used to add fields to the user profile page.

apply_filters( "{$field}", mixed $value, int $post_id, string $context ) #

Filters the value of a specific post field for display.


Description

The dynamic portion of the hook name, $field, refers to the post field name.
