{$field}_pre WordPress Filter Hook
The {$field}_pre hook is triggered before the value of a field is retrieved from the database. It can be used to modify the value before it is returned.

Filters the value of a specific post field before saving.
Description
The dynamic portion of the hook name, $field, refers to the post field name.
