the_modified_time() WordPress Function

The the_modified_time() Wordpress function allows you to display the last time a post was modified. This can be useful for showing your readers when you last updated a post, or for displaying how often a post is updated.

the_modified_time( string $format = '' ) #

Display the time at which the post was last modified.

Default value: ''

More Information

If you want to display both the modified time and the creation time, you may want to use an if statement to avoid showing the same time/date twice.
For example:

if ( get_the_modified_time() != get_the_time()) )
