edit_{$taxonomy} WordPress Action Hook

The {$taxonomy} object is passed to the edit_{$taxonomy} action hook. This hook is called after a taxonomy is updated.

do_action( "edit_{$taxonomy}", int $term_id, int $tt_id ) #

Fires after a term in a specific taxonomy has been updated, but before the term cache has been cleaned.


Description

The dynamic portion of the hook name, $taxonomy, refers to the taxonomy slug.

Possible hook names include:

  • edit_category
  • edit_post_tag
