edit_{$taxonomy}_{$field} WordPress Filter Hook

This hook is called whenever a {$taxonomy}_{$field} is updated. It gives you the opportunity to modify the data before it is saved to the database.

apply_filters( "edit_{$taxonomy}_{$field}", mixed $value, int $term_id ) #

Filters the taxonomy field to edit before it is sanitized.


Description

The dynamic portions of the filter name, $taxonomy and $field, refer to the taxonomy slug and taxonomy field, respectively.
